2 guys out to save the world from bland chicken. Popeyes was coming out of bankruptcy and needed help in re-establishing their brand with their core audience. The two characters, Redd & Zeke, who didn’t actually work for Popeyes, but took it upon themselves to stop people from eating bland chicken (KFC) no matter what the situation. Sales increased dramatically and Popeyes had customers quoting lines from the commercials in stores.
